Animals is a shock which won’t leave anyone indifferent.
This hard-hitting film by director Nabil Ben Yadir is based on events that took place in Liège back in April 2012, when a young man named Ihsane Jarfi was reported to have disappeared. He was last seen near a gay club, where he was witnessed getting into a car with four men. He was found dead and in a severely mutilated state 2 weeks later. This extremely dramatic film is the work of the director Nabil Ben Yadir and the cinematographer Frank Van den Eeden ('Girl'). We follow Brahim, a 35-year-old man, who, on the day of his mother's birthday, wants to tell her he is gay. Four men decide otherwise.
