Bécaud was a major international star with boundless energy. His passion for women, cigarettes and whisky was legendary.
Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, The Everly Brothers, Bob Dylan, Marlene Dietrich … they all lined up for the chance to sing Bécaud. And now Cools and De Schepper join them.

Frank Cools has performed as an actor and singer in just about every theatre in Flanders and the Netherlands. He has sung both chanson and popular song, and as an actor he shows a great fondness for classical texts. Most of all, he likes to keep nothing in his pockets and nothing up his sleeves, in order to reach the essence.
Florian De Schepper is a classical guitarist. He plays his instrument with admirable subtlety, while also being able to swing like no other.
As a duo, Cools & De Schepper are embarking on their second collaboration.
Previously, they created the highly successful AZNAVOUR, with which they performed for three seasons in Flanders and the Netherlands, including at De Zandloper.
