School holidays are the perfect time for children to take part in fun activities. For children whose mother tongue is not Dutch, it is a good idea to practice this language during the school holidays. The well-rounded programme is an opportunity to enjoy a unique weeklong experience of the Dutch language. The monitors encourage the children to speak Dutch while they play, even though the idea is not to offer language lessons.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Who is it for?:

Children who are during this school year (2023-2024) in:

• the 1st kindergarten class
• the 2nd kindergarten class
• the 3rd kindergarten class

When:

From Monday, 1 to Friday, 5 February 2024

Activities start at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Free childcare is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where:

GC de Zandloper – Kaasmarkt 75 – 1780 Wemmel

Meals:

Remember to provide your child with a packed lunch, something to drink, a biscuit and a bit of fruit every day.

Clothing:

Ensure your child wears comfortable clothes that are OK to get dirty and are easy to move around in.

Fee:

€115 per child

€105 for each additional child

How to register?

1. Complete the form (1 registration form per child).

1. GC de Zandloper will process the form.
2. You will then receive an email featuring the payment details.
3. You will then be required to pay the registration fee.
4. Once the payment has been received your child will be registered.

A tax certificate will be provided to enable you to recover some of the cost through the mutual health insurance scheme.
