Science Camp for Preschoolers (1st – 3rd year of kindergarten)

Pack your backpack, put on your detective hat and join us on the Rainbow Expedition!

But… how does such a beautiful rainbow actually appear in the sky? Every day, we discover a new colour of the rainbow. And every day, we do a new experiment.

We investigate stones from nature and take a close look at them, build a shelter for when it rains, play with light and shadows, and discover the magical powers of magnets.

We look, feel, try and test things ourselves. Step by step, we learn how the sun, rain and clouds come together to create a rainbow. And of course, there is also plenty of time to play the most fun games!

Three days full of wonder, experiments and fun… specially designed for little explorers.

Practical information

For whom

Children who are in this school year (2026-2027):

• in the 1st year of kindergarten
• in the 2nd year of kindergarten
• in the 3rd year of kindergarten

When

From Monday, November 2, 2026, to Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Activities start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Free supervision is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Meals

Please provide your child with a packed lunch, a drink, a biscuit, and a piece of fruit.

Clothing

Have your child wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty. They should be able to move around easily in them. Please also bring a change of clothes in case of a little accident.

How to register

1. Fill in the form (1 form per child).
2. GC de Zandloper processes the form.
3. You receive an email with payment information.
4. Pay the registration fee.
5. Your child is registered.

You will receive a tax certificate and may also be able to recover part of the cost through your health insurance.
