Dorothée van den Berghe, known for directing Meisje and My Queen Karo, reunites with KVS director Michael De Cock to craft the screenplay for this film.
Truck driver Erika is on her way to Bordeaux. During a stopover in Paris, she spots a man hiding in her truck, Idy, an African, who is trying to hitch a lift across the border. A third party intervenes, escalating the situation. Idy gets beaten up, and to save his life, Erika has no choice but to take him back in her truck. This unexpected act becomes the start of an unlikely friendship between two strangers.
