During KookKunst, children discover how food can be transformed into a work of art. They draw with food, make music with vegetables, identify flavours during a blind tasting and bring their creative ideas to life through photos or stop-motion animation.
The activities encourage creativity, collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking, with a focus on sustainability. All activities and instructions are provided in Dutch, allowing children to practise the language in a fun and playful way.

Practical information
For whom:
Children who, during the 2026–2027 school year:
- are in 1st grade
- are in 2nd grade
- are in 3rd grade
When:
Monday, 8 February 2027 to Friday, 12 February 2027
Activities start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Free supervision is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Meals:
Please provide your child with a packed lunch, a drink, a biscuit, and a piece of fruit.
Clothing:
Children should wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and allow freedom of movement.
How to register:
- Fill in the form (1 form per child).
- GC de Zandloper processes the form.
- You receive an email with payment information.
- Pay the registration fee.
- Your child is registered.
You will receive a tax certificate and may also be able to recover part of the cost through your health insurance.
